How to treat ulcer
There are different ways to treat ulcer
An ulcer can be treated medically by seeing a doctor
It can also be treated traditionally by drinking herbs.
An ulcer can also be controlled by adequate dieting. Eating the right diet enables the stomach to produce less acid when digesting food.
The more the quantity of food we eat the more the acid the stomach produced when digesting them. Therefore it is advisable to eat small quantities of food i.e. eat in bits like 5 or 6 times a day with little quantities of food instead of eating 2 or 3 large meals.
Foods/ Diet that reduces ulcer
Foods with low fat
Fatty food is more difficult to digest because the body produces more acid and worsen the situation. So it is preferable to eat food with low fat to speed up recovery.

Red meat is one of the fatty food you should reduce or avoid. Red meat is also rich in protein which takes a longer time to digest.
You cannot avoid meat entirely from your diet because meat contains a protein that you need. Eat more of fish, chicken, or turkey.
Avoid meat that contains fat and eat meats at least 3 hours before going to sleep to allow it to digest before going to bed.

For vitamins eat more fruits and vegetables such as carrot’s, grapes, apricot, berries, seaweed, wheat germ, sunflower seeds to protect the lining of the stomach and also reduced the risk of ulcer.
