Eating Too Much Pepper May Lead To Male Infertility See Others
Pepper belongs to a large family known as “Piperaceae”. It is used to prepare delicious meals. Pepper is added to spices such as onion, tomatoes, and blended to cook soup or stew.
Most people don’t enjoy meals cooked without pepper as they feel like throwing up eating those meals. They gain no satisfaction in that meal.
The Yoruba’s have been known to be lovers of pepper as most of them consume large quantities of pepper in most of their meals. Its benefits are numerous to the body if eating moderately as the benefits surpass its damage. But it also has its disadvantage, for every good side, there is also a disadvantage.
There is a bad side of pepper when eaten in excess or above moderate consumption. Some people love eating peppery food. They believe it burns excess fat from the body because they sweat profusely when eating such meals.
Eating excess pepper makes you feel a burning sensation in the mouth and stomach. It can also cause heartburn, ulcer, or increased pains and burns for ulcer patients, irritation, and respiratory disorders. You feel burns in your mouth.
Most people end up drinking more water to cool the hotness. They end up drinking more water and less of the food because of too much pepper.
It should be noted that some negative effects of pepper can only be temporary. It is experienced just for a while and after which you feel better.
Most people tend to drink more water after or during eating food with excess pepper to make them feel comfortable but this is not the best because the chemical compound found in chili pepper is incapable of been dissolved. Drinking water will easily pass the pepper directly to the stomach and other parts of the body.
It is advised that after eating or preparing food avoid hand contact with your eyes as it can cause discomfort and even eye defect. You are to wash your hand thoroughly with vinegar and allowed to dry before any form of contact with sensible organs like eyes if possible avoid hand contact with your eyes and nose.

Effect on male fertility
Excess intake of pepper, especially the black pepper may lead to infertility problems in males. Pepper contains piperine compounds which have been found to damage sperm cells. It increases the effect of harmful radicals in the epididymis, a place where sperm is being stored.
Excess intake of pepper may also affect pregnancy as it is capable of causing abortion.
Digestion Problems
The chemical compound from chili pepper can lead to burns especially when the person drinks water. The water transport the pepper to the stomach making the pepper to interacts with the acid there. It can cause diarrhea and triggers ulcer pain although it is not a major cause of the ulcer.

Asthma
For asthmatic persons, it is not advisable to eat a hot pepper. Pepper can disrupt the tubes that carry air to the lungs.
Accident
One should avoid touching sensible organs such as eyes and nose with hands used in slicing or grinding pepper while cooking
Pepper can cause serious eye problems if it enters the eyes mistakenly.
It is advisable to wear gloves to prevent pepper from touching the skin because when hot pepper remains on the skin it can lead to burns and scratching.
Sneezing
Although this may not have a serious negative effect, but excess intake of paper can cause you to sneeze. Most especially when this pepper is inhaled, it causes the irritation of nerves in the nasal mucous membrane.
